Okay, I was wrong. There is no problem when I load the module or when the computer boots and the driver is compiled into the kernel, it even detects the sound card correctly, but when I try to play any sound, it does not reproduce anything. Join our community today! Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

If it should work then its going to bug me to no end. The alsactl restore should be run on boot by runit if the alsa-utils is set to run.

If I try it with some application like Arts, there is no sound at all, and if I try Xmms with Alsa plugin, there is no sound, but the time counter increases, as if it was playing -but still no sound, and it is not a mute-issue, as I've tried many mixers in order to play around with the volumes- but it increases quite quickly -if a sound were to last 5 mins.
