Zound that I have done this many times, I notice that the Trap is actually being re-written to the screen over and over not flashing - as if it is in an endless loop of Traps. Also, if you think your sound card drivers maybe part of the problem go to the Sound Card manufacturer website and download the drivers for your sound card and operating system.
